Terms of Service

Effective 1 August 2026 · Last updated 1 August 2026

FindJobsCanada is a business name of The Shoppers Hub Canada Inc.

1. Who these terms are with

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and The Shoppers Hub Canada Inc., a corporation incorporated federally under the Canada Business Corporations Act and extra-provincially registered in British Columbia, operating as FindJobsCanada (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing a Career Progression Assessment you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy. If you do not agree, do not purchase.

Your card statement may show The Shoppers Hub Canada Inc. That is us.

2. What you are buying

The Career Progression Assessment is a written analysis of your career situation, produced by a person, based on information you provide.

Tier 1 — CAD $49. A written Assessment covering:

  • an interpretation of your diagnostic result and intake
  • your career positioning as a Canadian employer is likely to read it
  • an analysis of your target role — whether the roles you are pursuing are the right ones
  • an analysis of your career level — whether you are aiming at the right level
  • a distinction between skill gaps (things you cannot yet do) and evidence gaps (things you can do but have not demonstrated)
  • a prioritised 30/60/90 day roadmap
  • one immediate first action

Tier 2 — CAD $99. Everything in Tier 1, plus one 30-minute Founder Review video call to walk through your report.

Both prices are one-time payments in Canadian dollars. Neither is a subscription. Nothing recurs, nothing auto-renews, and you will not be charged again.

3. What this is not

This section matters more than any other. Please read it.

  • It is not a guarantee of any outcome. We do not promise interviews, offers, employment, a salary increase, or any result. Your outcome depends on your execution, your field, and the market.
  • It is not immigration, visa, or legal advice. We may say what roles are realistic given the work authorisation you tell us you hold. We will never advise on your status, applications, or immigration pathways. For that, consult a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer.
  • It is not tax, financial, or licensing advice.
  • It is not recruitment or job placement. We do not submit you to employers, contact employers on your behalf, or have relationships with hiring companies.
  • It is not coaching or an ongoing programme. It is a written analysis, delivered once, plus one call at the $99 tier.
  • It is not a resume writing service. We may tell you what your resume fails to evidence. We do not rewrite it for you.

4. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older and buying for yourself. The Assessment is designed for internationally experienced professionals seeking to establish or recover their career level in Canada. If your situation is outside that, tell us before purchasing and we will say honestly whether we can help.

5. Ordering and payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your purchase is complete when Stripe confirms payment. You will then receive a confirmation email with your Assessment ID and a link to the intake form.

6. The intake form — and when the clock starts

After purchase you must complete an intake form. It takes about 10 minutes.

This is important: the delivery clock starts when your completed intake is received, not when you pay. If you pay on Monday and submit your intake on Friday, delivery is measured from Friday.

We cannot begin work without it. If we have not received your intake within 7 days, we will remind you. If we still have not received it within 14 days of purchase, we will refund you in full and close the order.

7. Delivery

We deliver your written Assessment within 3 business days of receiving your completed intake.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays in British Columbia.

If we need clarification on something in your intake, we will ask. The clock pauses while we wait for your reply and resumes when you answer.

If we are going to miss the deadline, we will tell you before it passes, not after, and give you a new date. If we deliver more than 7 calendar days after your completed intake without having agreed a new date with you, you may request a full refund.

8. The Founder Review call ($99 tier only)

  • 30 minutes, by video, scheduled through a private booking link sent with your report.
  • Book it within 60 days of delivery. After that, availability is not guaranteed.
  • We do not record calls. You are welcome to take notes.
  • If you do not attend and do not give at least 12 hours notice, that counts as the call. We will offer one reschedule as a courtesy, but not more.
  • Calls are subject to founder availability, currently capped at four per month.

9. What we need from you

The Assessment is only as good as what you tell us. You agree to provide accurate, complete and honest information.

We are not responsible for advice that turns out to be wrong because the information you gave us was wrong or incomplete.

Please do not send us information we have not asked for — health information, your SIN, identity documents, immigration files or financial details. If you do, we will delete it.

10. Refunds

You get a full refund if:

  • you have not yet submitted your intake and you change your mind
  • we do not receive your intake within 14 days and the order is closed
  • we determine your situation is outside what the Assessment can address (see section 11)
  • we deliver more than 7 calendar days late without having agreed a new date with you
  • you tell us within 7 days of delivery that the Assessment did not meaningfully address your situation — and you tell us why

We do not refund because:

  • you disagree with the conclusions, having received a considered analysis
  • you have not yet acted on the roadmap
  • an outcome you hoped for has not happened
  • you booked the $99 tier and then did not use the call

To request a refund, email hello@findjobscanada.ca. We process approved refunds through Stripe within 5 business days, to the original payment method.

We would rather refund you than argue with you. If you feel you did not get what you paid for, say so.

11. When we say no

We may decline your order and refund you in full if:

  • your situation is outside what this service can address
  • what you actually need is immigration, legal, recruitment or mental-health support
  • the intake does not contain enough to work from and you are unable to supply more
  • proceeding would require us to give advice we are not qualified to give

We would rather return your money than send you something that does not help. This is not a rejection of you — it is a judgment about fit.

12. Founding Beta

The Assessment is currently offered as a Founding Beta limited to ten customers. That is a real number, not a marketing device.

What it means for you:

  • The founder personally produces every Assessment. You get more attention than later customers will.
  • The process is newer than it will be in six months. If something is missing from your report, tell us and we will fix it.
  • We may ask you for feedback. You are never obliged to give it, and your report does not depend on it.
  • We may ask permission to quote you anonymously. You may say no, and nothing changes if you do.

13. Who owns what

You own the information you give us, and your finished Assessment report. You may use it however you like personally — share it with a mentor, a friend, a coach.

We own the frameworks, templates, report structure, the Career Pattern model and all our underlying methodology. Buying an Assessment does not transfer any of that to you.

You may not resell, republish, redistribute or commercially exploit your report, or use it to build a competing service.

14. Confidentiality

What you tell us is confidential. We do not share it with employers, recruiters, or anyone else. How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Limitation of liability

Please read this section carefully.

We provide the Assessment with reasonable care and skill. But career decisions are yours, and outcomes depend on many things outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Assessment is limited to the amount you paid us — CAD $49 or CAD $99.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income, lost opportunity, or a job you did not get.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection law that cannot legally be limited. Where those laws give you a right, you keep it.

16. No professional relationship

Buying an Assessment does not create a solicitor-client relationship, an immigration consultant relationship, an employment agency relationship, a fiduciary duty, or any other regulated professional relationship.

We are a career analysis service. That is all we hold ourselves out to be.

17. Services we rely on

We use Stripe for payments, Google for the intake form and our records, Calendly for booking and Zoom for calls. Their availability is not within our control. If one of them fails and delays your delivery, we will tell you and extend the timeline rather than deliver something rushed.

18. Your right to complain, and to review us

If something goes wrong, email hello@findjobscanada.ca first. We will respond within 5 business days.

You are free to review us publicly, positively or otherwise. Nothing in these terms restricts that, and any term that purported to would be void in British Columbia in any event.

You may also contact Consumer Protection BC (consumerprotectionbc.ca) if you are not satisfied.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the version published when you bought. Changes never apply retroactively to an Assessment you have already paid for.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of British Columbia.

There is no mandatory arbitration clause in these terms and no waiver of your right to participate in a class proceeding. Those terms are void in BC consumer contracts and we have not included them.
